Discharge systems
Depending on the emptying process, we provide your big bag with an appropriate discharge system. The following options enable us to guarantee you an efficient, safe and hygienic big bag emptying process.
Discharge spout
The discharge spout is a cylindrical tube of coated light fabric sewn into the bottom of the big bag.
The length and diameter are geared to the product and the discharge installations
A closing tie is included as standard to tie up the discharge spout with a swan’s neck closure during production.
Iris closure
The iris closure provides hygienic protection for the filling valve. When this iris closure is drawn in and closed after filling, it protects the closed discharge spout.
A second tube with a drawstring is sewn in around the discharge spout
Extra protection when big bags are placed on top of one another for example during transport
The iris closure is tied up when the bag is produced
Double discharge spout
The double discharge spout provides an extra-hygienic seal and prevents dust forming as the bag is emptied.
This discharge mechanism consists of two discharge valves sewn into one another.
While the bag is being emptied, one valve can be attached over the discharge pipe.
Bottom flap
To provide a filled big bag with extra protection, an additional bottom panel can be sewn to one edge on the bottom.

Petal star closure
The petal star closure is used for big bags with a large discharge spout diameter. This closure prevents bulging and damage to the discharge spout when handling a filled big bag.

Safe opening system
With a safe opening system, the closure of the discharge spout is pulled open using a cord.
Recommended when the operator needs to be able to open the discharge spout from a distance
Optional flap with Velcro fastening for extra protection of the closing system
B-lock fastener
In addition to the standard drawstrings, B-lock fasteners can be used. With this plastic closing system, the drawstrings are flexibly and safely secured.
