Block bottom bags
Block bottom bags are the most advanced type of small bags. These cassette bags (or AD*Star bags) have a flat bottom for hassle-free filling and stacking. In addition, they are firmly sealed and available in various sizes. The form and structure of the filled bags allows that the printing on the top and sides of the bag is also visible. This offers increased product visualisation for bags stacked on shelves or pallets.

Block bottom bag with valve
A block bottom bag with valve is the most efficient way of filling and emptying. The neat, rectangular shape and covering top patch over the valve makes this bag easy to print on the top, as well.
There are three types of valves:
The self-closing valve closes automatically once the bag is filled, owing to the pressure of the product.
With a pocket valve, the installation will fold a closure flap inwards
A sealable valve is fused using a tool on the filling line
